Couponing...couponing...couponing...

So for a while now, I coupon off and off (I have to go get a paper on Sundays and I always forget)...although, this week I remembered and picked 2 up....I'm so glad I did...for this shopping trip, I only used coupons from the Redplum and Smart Source of 7/26...

First thing, I looked on www.southernsaver.com (it's a website that is a coupon and savings database for southern stores...I live in North Carolina)

First, I went to Walgreens and here are my transactions:

Transaction 1:
 1-Optic White 3D Toothbrush (Reg price $4.29-ON SALE for $3.49)
     I used 1 $0.50 off coupon which makes it $3.00, you get $2.00 back, so total was $1.00

In order to get $2.00 back, you have to do each toothbrush at a time

Transaction 2:
Same as transaction 1

So now I've spent $6.45 and I've gotten $4.00 back so I've spent $2.45

Transaction 3:
1-Schick Hydro 5 Groomer (Reg price $13.99-ON SALE for $9.99)
   I used 1 $4.00 off coupon which makes it $5.99
2-Schick Disposable Razors (Reg price $9.49 each-ON SALE for $5.99 each)
   I used 2 $4.00 off coupons which makes each one $1.99

So I spent $9.97 + tax and I got 5000 Walgreens points (which is equal to $5.00), so I've spent $4.97

Transaction 4:
6-Wexford 1 Subject notebooks (Reg price $1.79 each-ON SALE for $0.39 each, total: $2.34)
4-Jumbo Wexford Glue Sticks (Reg price $1.69 each-ON SALE for $.39 each, total: $1.56)
2-Expo Dry Erase Markers (Reg price $4.79 each-ON SALE 2.99 each)
   I used 2 $1.00 off coupon which makes each one $1.99 each,
4 Scotch tape rolls (Reg price $.0.99 each-ON SALE for $0.69 each, total: $2.76)

So I used the $4.00 that I got back from Transaction 1 and 2 and applied my 5000 points from Transaction 3, so I spent $2.49

Total Spent:
T1 & 2: $6.45
T3: 9.97
T4: 2.49

Total at Walgreens: $18.91 + tax
SAVED: $50.00

Next, I went to CVS:

Transaction 1:
2-Softsoap Body Wash (ON SALE for $3.50 each or 2/$7.00)
   I used 2 $0.75 coupon, total: $2.75 each
2-Irish Spring Body Wash (ON SALE for $3.50 each or 2/$7.00)
   I used 2 $2.00 off, total: $1.50 each
4- (3) Speed Stick Gel Deodorant and 1 Solid Deodorant (ON SALE $4.00 each or 2/$8.00)
  I used 2 BIG1FREE and 1 printed coupon from savings center for $1.50 off

So I spent $15.42 + tax and I got back $10.00 in extra care bucks, so I spent $5.42 + tax

Transaction 2:
2 Venus Razors ($11.99 each)
   I used 2 $3.00 off coupon and the $10.00 ECB

So I spent $7.98 + tax and I got back $2.00 in ECB, so I spent $5.98

I went to another CVS:

Transaction 1:

6-Suave Body Wash (Buy 1 get one 50% off, they ended up being different prices, weird)
   I used 2 B1G1FREE and my $2.00 extra care bucks from my previous visit to the other CVS

So I spent $1.68 + tax

Total at CVS : $25.08 + tax
SAVED: $51.92

SO OVERALL, I spent $43.99 and I SAVED $101.92
